Simple guides for setting up your GetOnlineHQ website.

Getting started

From creating a site to publishing it.

  1. 1

    Create your website

From your dashboard, click New Website. Enter your business name and choose a URL (for example your-business.getonlinehq.com). You can start from a template or from scratch.

  2. 2

    Complete the Getting started sections

In the editor, focus on Hero, Services, About, Gallery, and Contact. Follow the progress steps at the top — click a step to jump to that section. About and Gallery are optional if they don’t apply yet.

  3. 3

    Preview, then Publish

Use Preview to check desktop and mobile. When you’re happy, click Publish. Your site goes live at your unique URL. You’ll get a downloadable QR code plus share buttons for WhatsApp and X.

What each section is for

These are the Getting started sections in the editor.

Hero

The first thing visitors see. Add your logo, business name, tagline, and an optional background image. This is the most important section to fill in.

Services

List what you offer (up to 5). Each service needs a clear title and a short description so customers know how you can help them.

About

Tell your story — who you are, your experience, and why people should choose you. You can skip this at first and add it later.

Contact

Add phone, email, or WhatsApp so customers can reach you. Turn on a contact form and floating WhatsApp (optional prefilled message). Leads land in your Lead inbox.

More options

After the Contact section, use Show more options for Social links, SEO, Portfolio, Testimonials, FAQ, Blog, brand colors & fonts, section order, and Danger zone (delete site). These are useful but not required to publish your first site.

Helpful tips

  • Changes save automatically

You don’t need a Save button. Edit a field, wait a moment, and look for the Saved indicator.

  • Use the Sections menu

On desktop, use the left sidebar to jump between sections. On mobile, tap the Sections button at the bottom left.

  • Start from a template

Templates pre-fill example text you can rewrite. That’s often easier than starting from blank fields.

  • Follow up on leads

Open Submissions (Lead inbox) to set status, message leads on WhatsApp, or export CSV. You’ll also get a weekly email summary of views and enquiries.

  • Download your QR code

On published sites, tap the QR icon on your website card in My Websites, or open the website overview. Download the PNG for cards, flyers, or your shop counter. Already published before QR launched? Same steps — no republish needed.
